By creating an account on EFMA you accept these terms. Reading the encyclopedia needs no account.
Your account
- One account per person, signed in with your own Google or Facebook account, and you must be at least 14. Don’t share it or use automated tools to create or run accounts.
- New accounts are reviewed by the moderation team before they can edit, unless they come from an invitation.
- Usernames and display names must not impersonate other people, the project or its staff.
What you contribute
- Write in good faith, cite reliable sources and respect other people’s copyright: only add text, images and recordings you may share.
- Your contributions are published openly and may be edited, translated, reorganised or removed by other members. They stay in the article history, including after you delete your account (shown as “deleted user”).
- You keep the copyright of what you write. By publishing text on EFMA you license it under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 (CC BY-SA 4.0): anyone may share and adapt it, with credit to the authors (a link to the article’s history is enough), under the same licence.
- Images, recordings, scores and archive items keep their own licence or rights notice, shown with each one. Add them only if that licence allows it, and say where they come from.
- Short quotations from sources are welcome when they are clearly marked and credited; don’t copy whole texts.
Behaviour
No harassment, hate speech, spam, advertising or deliberate misinformation, and no attempts to break or overload the service. Moderators may hide content, and suspend accounts that break these rules, recording the reason.
The service
EFMA is a volunteer project, offered as it is. We may change or interrupt features, and update these terms; significant changes will be announced on the site.
